Check out Carri's album: Wicked Muse! She's joined on this project by internationally renowned jazz artists from NYC, Los Angeles and the Pacific Northwest. 

 

You may have heard some of these tunes before, but Wicked Muse offers a few, new twists. Carri penned evocative, new lyrics for the Wayne Shorter iinstrumental, Speak No Evil. She wrote a vocalese "story" to match instrumental solos on Oliver Nelson's classic, Stolen Moments. Fringe Benefit is a Stan Kenton big band number that has never previously been recorded by a vocalist.

 

The lush backdrop of orchestration created by producer, Gregory Ives, gives many of these tunes a cinematic feel, while others are sparsely arranged and intimate.
